Digital Content Specialist
Are you a digital marketer and writer that has a knack for creating compelling content? FMN Creative is looking for a forward-thinking, experienced Digital Content Specialist to join our Creative Crew.
This role will require our team member to write blogs, organic social media posts, sales/landing pages, email campaigns and sequences, while managing the social presence for designated clients. Our ideal team member has agency experience and is the type of person that has the ability to craft innovative content based on a client’s objectives. This is a remote, work from home position. Applicant must supply their own computer and secure internet connection to perform job responsibilities. The ideal candidate is located in the Central New York area and can occasionally work in-person with our Utica, NY based team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Write copy for various projects for the agency and clients, including social media captions, sales/landing pages, email marketing campaigns/sequences, and blogs
- Develop and manage a monthly content calendar for managed client accounts across multiple social media platforms
- Provide community management for managed client social platforms
- Work with clients on a routine basis to understand their needs, get feedback, share results, and approval of the content calendar/campaign
- Create social media graphics utilizing existing designed client brand templates and communicate design needs to the graphic design team
- Assist in executing the marketing needs of the agency, including but not limited to: social media management, content creation, email marketing, blog posts, paid social media, prospect outreach, research, campaign ideation, and more
- Flexibility to make own schedule M-F between the hours of 9am-6pm EST
- While we try not to work nights/holidays/weekends, you will occasionally have to monitor client accounts/active campaigns during these times
- The position will start part-time with the opportunity to grow
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, and/or related field
- 2-5 years of demonstrated industry experience in a similar role, preferably an agency and/or handling multiple clients
- Must be comfortable in a remote work environment and collaborating via virtual meetings
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and toggle between multiple projects for clients
- Exceptional working knowledge of leading social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook (platform itself, as well as Business Manager and Creator Studio), Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok
- Experience and demonstrated results in developing social media strategies, creating content, and managing social media channels for clients (minimum of 2+ clients at a time)
- Must be proficient in conversion-style copywriting for sales/landing pages and funnel execution
- Must be proficient in writing in various brand voices, adapting for multiple mediums
- Must have experience creating custom graphics for social media, Canva experience is a must
- Must have experience in email marketing, including Mailchimp, Constant Contact, and/or Kajabi
- Must be familiar with (or willing to learn) WordPress, Kajabi, Asana, G-Suite, Toggl, and Loom
- Must understand funnels and have a working knowledge of lead generation and/or nurturing
- Ability to lead in-person and Zoom calls for creative kickoffs with clients and our creative team
- Must have exceptional grammar skills and attention to detail
- Must understand how to thoughtfully communicate with clients to keep a project moving, and can write emails that are actionable, informative, and concise
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must
- Adobe CC Suite skills are a plus

- Is a rockstar multi-tasker that can prioritize and seamlessly manage multiple client campaigns
- Knows when to give it their all and when to ask for help (when Google fails)
- Must be based in the U.S, EST time zone, ideally in New York State
