Eat Smart NY enlisted our team at FMN Creative to help them connect to a hard to reach audience via Facebook advertising.

Serving the Mohawk Valley and surrounding regions, Eat Smart New York is a nutrition education program that offers educational workshops and resources within local communities.  From healthy eating on a budget to cooking skills and meal planning, we were on a mission to help ESNY connect their resources to those that can utilize it most, families on a budget.

Email List Growth

ESNY came to us with a specific goal in mind – to increase the number of email subscribers from a niche demographic.

The target audience for this campaign was individuals who may qualify for and/or receive benefits through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).  We researched the counties in which the program operates and developed unique targeting methods for how we could reach such specific Facebook users.

Our Goal: Solicit Email List Sign-Ups Using Facebook Advertising.

Solution 

To grow ESNY’s email list, our team crafted a digital marketing funnel and three-stage process that focused on engagement, traffic, and conversions to take their audience from a ‘like’ to a lead. We utilized Facebook and Instagram to connect to their niche audience. We created paid social media ads, a custom landing page, automated email blasts, and various content pieces. We ran A/B tests and determined that their audience responded best by filling out a form natively within the Facebook platform rather than visiting an external landing page.

To support ESNY’s team during the campaign duration, we developed a content calendar for their day-to-day social media management needs and provided consultation services to ensure their brand continued to speak social for years to come.
